It is a common trend that when this topic is raised, some people will say it's not possible. Some will say "How can you save 33k with all the plenty needs you have"...

I think the true question is not "can I save 33k but why do you want to save it"??

If you can answer why you really want to save it, then you will know how to save. Many won't save, they won't want to plan and manage their money because they already have a mentality that the money is not enough. That is already a big problem.

So let's see ...

WHY DO YOU NEED TO SAVE? CORPER WEE
---------------------------------------------------------

Having savings keeps you away from Post-NYSC depression and helps you stabilize yourself for that few months after service especially if you don't have any tangible plans for after service.

Having savings as a corper helps you plan for your life. You can either start a business or learn a high-income digital skill that can make you very attractive to the labor market. This will help you prepare for the favor market as employers take people with these skills seriously.

Above all, saving can keep you from unwanted "urgent 2k embarrassment". It's not every time people will always have to give you. Always have something that can bail you out, dear Corper. Even if it's 1k or 2k a month, it can be a lifesaver even in health challenges.

Sapa nor good for your health oooo

HOW DO YOU SAVE IN YOUR SERVICE YEAR!
---------------------------------------------------------

Live below your means by choosing to be careful with your spending. It's known that some societies and communities have a high cost of living. The truth is that the majority of those states with the high cost of living have stipends they pay corpers serving in their PPA. Now for those who don't have one, there is a high chance that your PPA has made some preparations for you according to NYSC directives.

Save in small portions. You know, people think that if they haven't saved 10k a month, then they haven't saved at all. One thing I have learned in this life is

"DON'T LOOK DOWN ON SMALL AMOUNTS OF MONEY NO MATTER HOW SMALL IT IS "

Great people you admire that have money today all started small... The number of self-made billionaires in America outnumbers those who inherit it by 100 to 1% Don't look down on the small number.

Master the art of accumulation. You can do it! Even if it's just 500 naira in 2 weeks. That's 1k in a month. That's 12k in a month. That can assist your feeding or even your transport going back home.

It can also help you buy a course to upskill yourself to make yourself attractive to companies. You can even break it down and start saving 100 nairas every day..lol.. its funny right...I am telling you what I have done.. and it helped me gain what we call "financial independence and intelligence today".

One book I recommend every corper reads is "RICHEST MAN IN BABYLON".. this book is what made my life become better during and after service. I am really grateful to God  I found it.

If you are interested in getting the soft copy of the book, drop a comment below and you will I will send you a dm. Okay.. this is already long..

I will tell you more in my next post on the "law of accumulation".By the way, there will be a training today for those who are interested in starting a sales business.
